I am a psychologist serving individuals of all ages, with counseling and testing services and locations in Williamsburg and Newport News, Virginia. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, adjustments at college or work, Covid stress, parenting problems, or have a child or teen who is suffering or acting out, I would be honored to help you find new ways to cope.

My specialties include child and adolescent psychology, trauma, EMDR, attachment, ADHD, and stress management. I also specialize in testing for learning disorders, ADD/ADHD, autism, and other psychological difficulties.

My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused. I use mainly cognitive-behavioral interventions for therapy. For children I engage with play and expressive approaches that allow for creativity. For testing, I can help if you are seeking a diagnosis, want a comprehensive treatment plan, or just want to understand yourself or your child better.

My counseling work is with the Peninsula Pastoral Counseling Center, with locations at Williamsburg United Methodist Church (across the street from the College of William and Mary) and in Newport News. I expect to take most types of insurance in the near future, and there are reduced rates for those who cannot afford the full $125-$150/session fee. Individuals do not have to belong to any faith tradition in order to see me or any other counselor at Peninsula Pastoral Counseling Center. Call 757-873-2273 to set up a therapy appointment.

I conduct psychological testing independently at Rochford Assessments in Williamsburg. Call 540-430-0235 for testing.
